Christmas Collage Card by Alison Rasmussen

Supplies

  • Stardust cardstock
  • Shooting Star cardstock (from pastel paper assortment)
  • Shooting Star TAC™ metallic dye inkpad
  • Cape Cod TAC™ dye inkpad
  • Christmas Collage stamp
  • Silhouette Nativity stamp set (optional)
  • Teal fringe fiber
  • 1/8" hole punch
  • Adhesive
  • Trimmer

Instructions

  1. Cut the Shooting Star cardstock in half to 11" x 4.25". Score and fold over to make a vertical greeting card as shown.
  2. Stamp the starry background stamp from the Silhouette Nativity set in Shooting Star ink. An option here: Using a stiff bristled brush or stipple brush, pounce a starry background in Shooting Star ink directly onto the cardstock.
  3. Stamp the Christmas Collage stamp onto the Stardust cardstock in Cape Cod dye ink and trim.
  4. Mount the stamped image onto a leftover piece of Shooting Star cardstock and trim.
  5. Mount the matted stamped image onto another piece of Stardust cardstock and trim.
  6. Adhere the stamped image onto the front of the card.
  7. Punch two holes in the top of the card and thread the teal fringe fiber through. Tie with a simple square knot.
