Supplies
- Christmas
Cards Scrapbooking Kit by Leaving Prints™, including
Kraft paper, Salsa and Forest solid cardstock, and Christmas
tree paper piecing pattern.
- Adhesive (pop dots are optional)
- Trimmer
Instructions
- Trim
Kraft cardstock to 10.5" x 5.5"
for the card background. Score about 3.25" from the right
edge and fold, and 2.25" from the left to make a 5.5"
x 4.25" card.
- Trim
a .5" x 5.5" strip from the Forest cardstock.
- Trim
a 2" x 2.5" rectangle from the Salsa
cardstock.
- Trim
a 1.75" x 2.25" rectangle from the white side of
any leftover cardstock.
- Using the paper piecing pattern and left over
Kraft and Forest scraps, trim the branches and trunk of the
tree as shown.
- Adhere Christmas tree paper piecing to the
white rectangle, and mount it on the Salsa rectangle.
- Adhere the Forest strip to the center of the
right side of the card.
- Mount the paper piecing to the left side of
the card as shown. Let the right side hang over the right
side of the card. Use pop dots for
added dimension.
