Fishy Fun
with Crystal Lacquer

An example
of the use of complimentary colors--blue and orange--which lay
across from one another on the color wheel. Unfortunately, this
set, Fishy Fun, was retired in June of 2007. The script greetings
is Be
Authentic, one of my favorites. I stamped these in black on
top of the Tag Alphabet layer, which has also been retired.
On the first
card, I created the paper ribbon by corrugating
a narrow strip of dark blue paper. The paper is by Die Cuts with
a View, and has a white core, to allow for extra dimension after
aging
it slightly. I used
medium blue, dark
blue, dark orange and medium
orange for these cards.
To create
the look of water, I covered the bag and fishbowl with a think
layer of Crystal Lacquer, a clear hardening glue.
