Antiqued Holiday Card by Alison Rasmussen

Supplies

Instructions

  1. Cut the Birch cardstock in half to 8.5" x 5.5". Score and fold over to make a vertical greeting card as shown.
  2. Using one piece of the hydrasponge, sponge Goddess Gold ink all over the birch cardstock.
  3. Stamp the Christmas Collage stamp onto a new piece of Birch cardstock in Burnished Iron ink and trim.
  4. Using the antiqued cardstock technique, sponge ink onto the stamped image, starting with the lightest ink to the darkest: Covered Wagon, Goddess Gold, Pueblo and Burnished Iron. As with the antiqued cardstock technique, you'll want to leave the area in the middle as light as possible, while gradually getting darker towards the outside edges.
  5. Wrap a small length of copper wire around the antiqued stamped image as shown. Adhere to the back of the cardstock with tape.
  6. Mount the antiqued stamped image onto a sheet of Gold Sparkle cardstock and trim.
  7. Adhere the matted antiqued image onto the front of the card.
